OWNER TIPS & TRICKS

1
Sealcoating Schedule

Sealcoating is recommended every 2 years to help protect your asphalt from sun, water, and oil damage. Regular maintenance keeps the surface looking fresh and extends its lifespan.

2
Proper Asphalt Layers

For best results on new asphalt, remove failing material and install a solid base layer (25mm) with a quality topcoat (9.5mm) to prevent early wear.

3
Snow & Ice Care

Avoid metal shovels or sharp tools that can gouge the surface. Use plastic shovels when possible and choose asphalt-safe ice melt products.

4
Heavy Vehicles

Try not to park heavy trucks or trailers in the same spot for long periods. Spreading out weight helps reduce rutting and depressions.

5
Drainage Matters

Ensure water runs off your driveway and doesn't sit in puddles. Standing water breaks down asphalt fast; clear blocked drains and address low spots.

Every project gets the same level of care, whether it’s a small repair or a full driveway replacement. We show up on time, communicate clearly, and leave you with a clean, long‑lasting finish.
